Outgoing Students – Department of Economics

The Department of Economics at the disposal of the students who wish to go abroad. They are supposed to get in contact with:

The possibilities of stays abroad are considered in the context of professional placements (SMP) in the second semester of the third year. With the collaboration of the Erasmus coordinator, it is up to the students to find a placement in a company in the target country. In years past, the students went to Great-Britain (Manchester, Plymouth, Littleport), to Germany (Cologne), to Spain (Sevilla), to the Netherlands (Amsterdam) and to Belgium in the German-speaking Community (Eupen) or the Dutch-speaking Community.

The applicants are expected to follow the procedure hereunder to complete their file: www.moneuropass.be

• From the second study year, take part in the meetings about international mobility.
• Hand in an application file with a CV and a language passport on the Europass pattern ( www.moneuropass.be) as well as a letter of intention. The file must be written in the target language.
• A selection of the students can be carried out on the grounds of their motivation for that project of mobility, of their academic results,
• During the first semester of the third year, a final choice of the students is operated. Those students hand in an application file for the Erasmus grant and/or a grant of the “Fonds de mobilité” (tax roll certificate, placement agreement, Erasmus agreement)
