The stays abroad take place in the frame of academic stays (SMS), most of the time in the second semester of the last year of the training, in cooperation with the following partners:

• In Scotland: Aberdeen: University of Aberdeen & Edinburgh: University of Edinburgh
• In Finland, Pori: Satakunta University of Applied Sciences
• In Poland: Czestochowa University of Technology
• In the Czech Republic, Ostrava: Technical University of Ostrava
• In France: IUT de Rennes- Université de Rennes 1
• In Germany : Hochschule Mannheim

It is also possible to carry out a professional stay abroad (SMP). With the help of their Erasmus coordinator, it is up to the students to find their host institution in the country they have chosen.

The applicants should follow the procedure hereunder to complete their file:

• October (X-1) (X= the year of the mobility): the Erasmus representative in the institution informs the students. In a parallel way, since 2009, an International Evening has been set up for the whole Haute Ecole, where former mobile students come to share their experience and stimulate further applications.
• December (X-1): the applicants are to hand in a Europass CV with a letter of intention in the target language (www.moneuropass.be)
• January (X-1): applicants are interviewed to assess their motivation, expectations and language level.
• February-June (X-1): the SMP applicants start their investigation for a stay abroad. The SMS applicants start completing their application file.
• September (X): final applications are certified, destinations are established and the administrative procedure starts, with the final amount of the grants and the filling up of the Erasmus forms.
